We are the lucky Country.

Words can not describe how important it is that we vote. We are incredibly lucky to live in a country where we have this right and we don't have to fight for it or risk death. I also appreciate that voting is compulsory, ensuring that we all have a say in how our government in controlled and run.

I hope you used your vote wisely today.

Much love. x

  1. Ditto... although it seemed a bit pointless this election to be honest.

    1. I hear you Claire. I am so disappointed in Australia right now. Apparently 3, 000, 000 Australians didn't vote. I know a few of them. But oh well. Overall, it just goes to show the power of the media in this country.

And it is only pointless if by fear of death that you are forced to vote a certain way. We are so lucky.

    1. We certainly are. I'm a bit scared of what will happen now though. I hear that Abbott is already in talks re: removing the heritage listing of some old grow forests in Tasmania. It is a dark time for Australia.
