So I can finally cook again. It's such a relief to not feel incredibly nauseated. Lately, I've been making buckwheat pancakes for breakfast. I add about half a cup of buckwheat, enough water to make a batter and one clove of crushed garlic. Then I heat it in a fry pan over low heat, until I can see that the sides are definitely cooked and the top has set. I flip it over to give it some time on the other side.
I've been topping it with cashew cheese, tomato, spring onion and today I had mushrooms.
It feels so good to be able to eat something other than bread. Bread was bloating me so much, I kept being asked if I was having twins.
Mostly, I just got fat.
Glad to hear you're feeling better. Must be such a relief to cook what you want again xxx

DeleteOh gosh! I've missed this big news til now! So happy for you! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Cheryl! It's been crazy, noticing all of the changes in my body and how it functions. Getting used to it has been a little tricky, but I'm just trying to relax into it and go with the flow. I hope you are amazing, as always. :)
