I look at her and my heart explodes and waterfalls well behind my eyes.
She's just the most beautiful thing.
Her name is Edith (we're calling her Edie).
We're blessed to have her. She was born on Groundhog Day, February 2, at 9:45 pm.
I love her madly.
Congratulations Sally and Gordy. She is gorgeous. I was wondering just today whether your bub had arrived. How are you doing? Hope you are all getting some sleep.
ReplyDeleteMuch love to your little family. xx
Thank you! I'm loving being a mum. She's so perfect. How are you and your family? I haven't spoken to you in ages. Hope you are fantastic. :) xx
DeleteFinally! I saw your post about the art exhibition and was thinking, "Surely the baby must have arrived", especially as I hear that they're quite strict about not letting babies get too overdue in Australia. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThey really are strict! I was quite surprised. Usually, it's 8-10 days. I was placed in a midwife led group however, and they said I could push it out to 14 days if I wanted too, as long as I was aware of the risks. Luckily, she came on day 11, completely natural. I was surprised to learn that in Europe, it's quite normal to be overdue by 14 days.
DeleteThank you for the well wishes!
