The Tea Catcher (support amazing yet small business) x

I love tea. If you don't know this about me, then you mustn't know me well at all.

This evening I have received a fine delivery of teas from Stu who runs the up and coming tea company, The Tea Catcher.

This is not the first time I have sampled Stu's tea. He kindly gave me a variety for my birthday in April and I have been daydreaming about them ever since. The flavours are fresh, crisp and oh, god... How do I say this? His tea just tastes damn amazing.

You know how with so many teas that you buy over the counter, they taste like the plastic they have been wrapped in? They've been sitting on the shelf for far too long and just seem to lack any flavour.
Ugh. I'm thinking about the tea at work. It's like brown, flavoured water.  Stu's teas are the absolute opposite of that. Never have I met a man with such a passion for tea. The man talks about tea like it is a fine wine. He knows the history of each leaf and how each variety came into being. Each packet of tea comes with a story to tell and hints on how to brew every fine cup.

Stu has sourced the teas himself, after having lived for many years in India and Asia, knowing the areas intimately and getting to know others in the tea business. You could say he is a fine tea connoisseur who wants to share not only his products but his astounding knowledge with the rest of us delightful tea sippers.

Stu is looking now into making alcoholic tea infusions. If you're anything like me, you'll be a little psyched about this knowing that Summer will soon be on it's way, rearing it's sweaty head all over our Sunday Sessions. I can't wait to see what he comes up with.
